Rev. Dr. Meshach Edugwu Obasi

Rev. Dr. Meshach Edugwu Obasi was born into the family of Mr. / Mrs. Michael Obasi Ngwu Ucha in (Ndu-Ebem), Ndi-Emem Igboke in Ndiagada of Umuode kindred, He hail from Ndiagueshi Ukwagba Ngbo, Ngbo North Development Center in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi state, Nigeria. His journey to success began on 13th March 1976 on Monday morning; when the joyful news bulletin was published that a wonderful male child was born into this world.
The call of God on him made him to pursue academic vigorously. At 13 years old, he joined Assemblies of The Believers Church (ABC) on September 1990, and was baptized on November 1990. And he was taught on the imperative of child Evangelism, one day as he was preaching under heavy Rain in that Night he heard a voice from God, where he was called: “Rev. Dr. Obasi” at that tender age. He started primary school at the age of 14th years. He started personal Evangelical work at the primary school level. He obtained his Bachelors Degree in Theology At Institute of pastoral & Theological studies (IPTS) Enugu. He got NCE Certificate in Africa thinker’s community of Inquiry college of Education (ATCOICOE) Enugu. Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) where he read educational management and supervision/social studies of education. In 2018, he was offered admission to study in Faith Forward Christ Embassy Theological Seminary in Port-Harcourt, Abakaliki Campus Ebonyi State. Here, he obtained Masters of Art in Theology and Doctor of Divinity. He is one of the senior Lecturers in Unity Colledge OF Theology & Seminary (UCTS) Okposi and the deputy Rector Admin.
He was appointed a member of the General Executive Council (GEC). He is the Overseer for Defense and Welfare in Assemblies of the Believers Church. He has served the church faithfully in various capacities. An Evangelist with evidences and also a prophet of God; who abides on the word of Christ “which said … Go ye and Teaching them to Observe all” which is the Apostolic mandate. He is a musician who has produced many Albums and a prolific and a great author, In 2014 He published a powerful book tagged when mosquito is around. He is highly creative and formative in nature. He is married to Prophetess Gift Chidera Obasi and the union was blessed with promising children.
