De-Best Brains Academy (DEBBA)
De-Best Brains Academy is one of the educational development initiatives of the General Executive Council (GEC)
of Assemblies of the believers church (ABC) which was established on 4th September 2017 with the aim of producing
Excellent and Productive pupils who will stand the test of time in the academic arena and other areas of life
endeavors, hence her motto, "Excellence and productivity".
At her inception, De-Best Brains Academy commenced her academic activities from Nursery 1 - 3 and primary 1 - 3 with
seven staff. However, by 2020/2021 academic session, the school has metamorphosed to primary six with over 250 pupils
and 16 well trained staff. In the same year, the school had her first common Entrance candidates and first school leaving
certificate examination with 22 pupils and their results proved that indeed we are De-Best Brains.
These fits were achieved by the grace of God through the combined efforts of Pastor G. U. Assa who is the pioneer
administrator of the school, the General Executive Council of Assemblies of the Believers Church (ABC) and host of
other staff to the glory of God. In her quest for advancement, the secondary category of De-Best Brains Academy was
established on 6th September 2021 with Reverend Dr. J. N. Igwe as the principal.
De-Best Brains Academy have four(4) campuses namely :
- Umuoru Campus which is located at opposite Umuoru Bus-Stop, Umuoru Amechi Izhia in Ohaukwu L.G.A. of Ebonyi State
- Ojianya Campus which is located at Ojianya Achara in Ebonyi L.G.A. of Ebonyi State.
- Ndiagu-Iyiogwe Campus which is located at opposite St. James Secondary School, Ndiagu-Iyiogwe Ukwuagba Ngbo in Ohaukwu L.G.A. of Ebonyi State.
- Amaechi Campus which is located at Obodo Akara Playground, Amaechi Izhia in Ohaukwu L.G.A. of Ebonyi State.
At De-Best Brains Academy, we equip our pupils and students with academic standards, skills, entrepreneurship, ICT and good morality to produce excellent and productive pupils and students. Our extra curricular activities includes:
